72. BEAN AGAR

Beans (peas or pulse) 100.0 g

K2HPO4 0.5 g

Sucrose 10.0 g

Agar 20.0 g

Tap water 1000.0 ml

Boil beans in 1000.0 ml of water, filter through gauze, add water to the initial volume; add phosphate, sucrose and agar.

pH 7.2-7.4

Autoclave at 111°C for 30 min.
